Petals of Love Volume 2 Description Charles Miller was a music teacher and later a computer technology teacher in the Chicago Public Schools. This is his second CD, 'Petals of Love' volume two. In this volume Charley rerecorded Hey, Hey and Gemini giving each a new fresh sound and modern lyrics. Gemini was done in a regae style after a dream about two suns shinning so bright that travelers in outer space can identify it as a navigational point of reference between this universe and others. Hey, Hey 2002 is a love song of a man enjoying the company of his wife and child at the beach. 'A Magic Moment' is love song telling the world how love should be valued and not wasted. Love is a blues song about a young man in a hot situation- a very, very feavorish moment in time when the body and the spirit is willing with the right woman as stimuli. Included on this volume also is an extended version of 'Smile!' Charley theme song. Petals of Love Volume Three This 3rd CD includes a ragae song 'I Get Around' a cute little song about a man who goes everywhere in the world--and not straight home to his loving family. This CD also features 'Nature's Millionaire' a story about a man high on living and not about drugs--but about making himself a success! 'Pretty Girl' is a ballad about a girl friend and her value to a man who loves and wants to keep her always in his life. Christmas Revisited
CHRISTMAS ( revisited ) ALL NEW ARRANGEMENTS and SOUNDS ! On Christmas Songs, previously recorded . These are some of my favorites and I hope they are yours, also . Songs that have lived for years and will continue to live, even in these most difficult of times ! What would Christmas be without some of the glorious Christmas music written through the years ! I wish I could record it all, naturally, that won't happen, therefore, in " CHRISTMAS revisited " I have strived to improve my arrangements and sounds . Only you, can determine, whether, I succeeded . Four songs were added, that weren't on the other album " Away in a Manger, Away in a Manger ( Cradle Song ), Over the River and Through the Woods to Grandmother's House We Go, We Wish You A Merry Christmas " . On the last two songs, I attempted to do sounds that were different from the rest of the album . On "O Come All Ye Faithful and It Came Upon the Midnight Clear", I increased the sound volume and the beat , I believe the style of the songs warranted the increase . I think, because Christmas music is only heard for a short time, that, it seems to be always, fresh and new . Played, a few days before Christmas and particularly on Christmas eve was always my favorite listening times . I know it's a hectic time and you have so much to do . But take some time to listen and relax, even if you don't get everything you planned, accomplished . Let the good memories flow from the past as you create new ones this Christmas . Time waits for no one and in a flash the present becomes the past . It's hard for me to believe, that, I've seen so many Christmas's come and go . Not all have been good but in memory they've all been good . I guess that's par for everyone . Like the song, WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR !! When it comes to this type of thing, I'm someone who loves beautiful music, from all types of genre's, songs, musicians but not all and not everything or everyone . Late in life, I got the whim to start playing the keyboard, which I did, without any formal training and although I can't compete with the masters, the greats, near greats and very good, I'll continue to do so until the end . Every once in awhile I'll mess with the guitar and harmonica ( not very good ) hate to practice ( and practice makes perfect or at least better ), pay attention kids . And all that has led to this, most of us don't advance because we're afraid of failing . We may never reach our goals -- but how do we know, if we don't try . It's fourth down - inch's from the goal line - go for it ( whatever it is ). Experience is the best teacher but often the most bitter . There was much music, artistic, athleticism talent in our family that went by the wayside . If you don't do - you regret.
