    Born, Nathaniel O'Rel Brown. Kap Rizzy was raised in a single parent household. Growing up in Tidewater Park (TWP) wasn't easy, it was regarded as one of the toughest neighborhoods in the Hampton Roads area. Kap's positive attitude amidst the crime and poverty, kept him focused. As a kid in TWP he met Purnell Salter, who would later become CEO of Collabo Records releasing two Kap Rizzy solo projects. Kap Started rapping at around 13. While in high school, he realized he had a strong passion for it! While listening to Kap's rhyme scheme the wittiness is apparent He has the to slip metaphors by you like the quickest point guard.     Good Thief
    Postell - The Good Thief Postell can rap. He can flow. He can spit. He's 'kinda nice with the bump ba bump bump,' as he eloquently understates things on the album's triumphant title track. He rides beats with the natural ease of a born emcee. No stumbles, no unnatural pauses, no gasping for breath, but more than that he's got flows... plural. The man's been rapping since '93, came up in Decatur GA and now resides in Brooklyn NY, and it shows as he speedily squeezes syllables, deftly shifts cadences, nonchalantly flips styles, and expertly slings slang... especially on upbeat lyrical showcases like 'All I Do' and 'The Remainder. ' He even drops into a sweet R&B tenor. Yeah, he can sing too, and he does--with soul--on the funky-ass slow-burn of 'Sloppy' and on mature and reflective relationship jams like 'Michelle (extra kind)' and 'Speakin' For Jason,' the latter featuring an ironically buoyant bassline and tinkly keys juxtaposed against the raw sentimentality and heartbreak of the lyrics. It's not all grown and sexy (or remorseful in the case of 'Speakin' For Jason') though. Postell's The Good Thief is the record of a grown-ass man, but like any real man Pos is complicated. He might be grown, thoughtful and even a little bit wise, but he's still chasing paper, still chasing ass, and doing so with style. Tracks like 'Knees' and 'Inside Out' are single-mindedly carnal, well designed to get the ladies shaking on the dancefloor and elsewhere. There's even a Pos style take on intimate club (meets New Wave) on 'Slip.' That Postell can rap shouldn't come as such a surprise, but these days when so many folks are content to ride the same half-ass style throughout an entire album of filler banking on a couple of hooks and a couple of million dollar productions to make people forget about the rest, at least for their fifteen minutes, it kind of does. More than just a vehicle for a rapper riding beats, though, The Good Thief is a fully realized album, one that rewards multiple listens, and that's a testament to Postell's (and production partner and Q Brother, JAQ's) songwriting and musicality. The beats and rhymes are there--and they bang--but apparent upon closer listening are concepts, structures, ideas, and melodies that make The Good Thief a stylistically diverse rapper's record that folks will forever be bump ba bump bumping. - by Rob Babylon.

    It was obvious as a youngster, Smoke was bound to inherit a musical talent that could only be in God's favor. Embraced by different cultures of music, his artistry was magnified in childhood. Growing up in the inner-city amongst gangs, violence, poverty, & police brutality Smoke sought to find a way out. After leaving the Windy City with his family, he up rooted in Jackson Mississippi, where he expanded his rapping talents in a furious explosion. The youngster now known as Smoke, would enter high school talent shows and rapper contest that would soon start producing tracks that brought attention to the many skills he exemplified causing 100 Drums Production to seek him out as an independent artist and song writer. Smoke flirted with sports throughout his life, after playing high school and college basketball, he attempted a career at semi-pro basketball but after playing on the summer league team with 2 different semi-pro teams without any success Smoke went full throttle with his music career. After many recordings and spins from the radio stations, Smoke settled into the mind of his listeners like dust...his definite swagger and street culture jelled into the hearts of everyone that knew him and everyone that would soon know him.     Shawn 'Raw-Way' Jordan began his rapping career as a youngster coming up under his brothers Don Juan and Plai Boi, who had been rapping and working towards buying their own music equipment. Raw-Way used to sneak on the equipment, practice on his own until he got good enough to show his brothers he had skills. When they seen how good he was they then began working together. They performed attalent shows, hosted parties, competed in free style contests and started a label in 2004 called Slaughterhouse Entertainment. Slaughterhouse Entertainment released five mixed tapes and an album 'Stress Music' by label mate Cridie Mac in 2005. He had always known him but one day they decided to become a duo. Forming the group m. O. E. T. (money ova every thang). After finishing their first mixtape 'beginning of tha end vol. 1'. They signed with's t r (street theory records). Gent will release his solo project first. Gent has been influenced by tupac, jay-z, nas, notorious b i g, dr dre, the game, fabolous, and lil wayne.
