Hank von Hell
Sein letzter Auftritt hierzulande liegt schon fast zwei Jahre zurück, jetzt kündigt Hank von Hell seine erste ausgiebige Deutschland-Tournee an. Der ehemalige Frontmann der Schockrocker Turbonegro wird dabei im Mai 2022 acht Konzerte absolvieren, ein zusätzlicher Gig findet in Wien/Österreich statt. Special Guests der Tour sind die schwedische Punk-Band Psychopunch und die norwegischen Rocker von Lüt.Hank von Hell wird bekannt als Frontmann der norwegischen Death-Punk-Band Turbonegro, um die sich vor allem Mitte bis Ende der Neunziger ein regelrechter Kult in der Szene entwickelt. Zu ihren Stilmitteln gehören neben der Verbindung von britischem Glam Rock und amerikanischem Punk und Metal auch kontroverse Outfits und ebensolche Songtexte, in denen oft gängige Rockstar-Klischees auf die Schippe genommen werden. Die Alben Never Is Forever (1994), mit Fernsehkommissar Derrick auf dem Cover, die derbe Punkplatte Ass Cobra und vor allem das grandios-pompöse Apocalypse Dudes (1998) mit den Kulthits ?Get It On?, ?Rock Against Ass? und ?Are You Ready (For Some Darkness?) gelten bis heute als ein Muss für jeden Punk- und Rock-Fan. Vor allem letztere Scheibe wird mehrmals von Kollegen geadelt: Das Beastie Boys-Label ?Grand Royal? bezeichnet es als RocknRoll Album of the Decade und Ex-Dead-Kennedys-Sänger Jello Biafra behauptet sogar, Apocalypse Dudes sei das wichtigste Album aus Europa aller Zeiten. Aber nach der anschließenden Darkness Forever-Tour trennt sich die Band 1998 aufgrund von internen und persönlichen Problemen und Differenzen. Interessanterweise wächst die Popularität der Band in der Zeit nach dem Split enorm an. Die Turbojugend, der weltweite Fanclub von Turbonegro, kann eine stetig wachsende Zahl von neuen Chaptern verbuchen (im Frühjahr 2005 gründet sich die 1000. Turbojugend) und das Turbojugend Erkennungszeichen, die Kutte mit der Ledermütze auf dem Rücken, ist auf Rockkonzerten weltweit zu sehen.Hank von Hell (aka Hank van Helvete) erholt sich in der Zeit vom 1998 bis 2002 in seiner Heimat, auf den Moskenes-Inseln der Lofoten, arbeitet in einem Museum für Fischerei und Walfang in Å und als Moderator einer morgendlichen Sendung eines örtlichen Radiosenders. 2002 schließlich findet die Wiedervereinigung von Turbonegro statt, es folgen mehrere Alben und Tourneen, bis er 2010 endgültig aussteigt. Von 2009 bis 2011 fungiert er als Sänger der Supergroup Doctor Midnight & the Mercy Cult mit Mitgliedern von Satyricon, KMFDM, Apoptygma Berzerk und Extol. Seit 2018 ist Hank von Hell mit einer eigenen Band auf Tour, tourt auch in Deutschland, um seine beiden bisherigen SoloAlben ?Egomania? (2018) und ?Dead? (2020) live vorzustellen. Dass der exzentrische Sänger dabei aus seiner Vergangenheit keinen Hehl macht, seinem Stil treu bleibt und dennoch neue Impulse in dem von ihm mitdefinierten Genre ?Death Punk? setzen kann, ist kein Geheimnis. Der Erfolg als Solo-Künstler gibt ihm Recht. Und so dürfen sich die Fans auf einen Abend mit alten und neuen Hits freuen. Hawelka & Schierhuber spielen das Lied vom Tod
Sie sind wieder unterwegs! Hawelka & Schierhuber: gewohnt komisch, gewohnt - ähm - genial und massiv erfolgreich bei der Mördersuche. Dieses Mal haben sie es aber leider nicht mit einem Waldviertler Bauerntölpel zu tun, sondern mit einem gefinkelten Serienmörder aus der Großstadt.
